The Outstanding Senior Award has been presented by Mansfield University since 1974. A committee appointed by the University President selects the Outstanding Senior from the students who have been nominated by their departments or have received at-large nominations.
A nominee for the award must be a graduating senior during the current academic year. The selection committee considers the following criteria in its deliberations:
Academic achievement (a 3.00 QPA or better is necessary) Exemplary leadership Service to the University and community2010-2011 Outstanding Senior:
