The Act 101 Bridge Program gives all new Act 101 students an opportunity to experience their first week at Mansfield in a controlled educational/social environment. Students will experience mock lectures in college-level courses; will be able to interact with peer mentors, counselors and the Act 101 Director; and will participate in a variety of educational, cultural, and social activities.
An educational and leadership training field trip experience is part of the one week program and student satisfaction surveys have indicated that the Bridge Program is a valuable step for continued matriculation at Mansfield University. This Program introduces students to our support services and results in students developing life-long friendships both with the staff and fellow Act 101 students.
