The Alumni Citation Award recognizes contributions to society through professional, civic and philanthropic work. Upon graduation from Mansfield University in 1957, Dr. Robert Swinsick became a teacher. He received his M.S. Ed. Degree from St. Bonaventure University and his Ed. D. from Pennsylvania State University.
He continued his career as an assistant principal and principal before returning to his alma mater in 1969 to become an education professor and later chair of the education department and dean of the school of education.
Robert is active in the Borough Council, the Catholic Church and Corey Creek Golf Club.
