Ms. Marianne Seefeldt Bozzo ’69

Marianne Seefeldt BozzoThe Elsie Burke Service Award recognizes outstanding service to Mansfield University. Marianne Seefeldt Bozzo has been a German Teacher at Liberty High School for 32 years and was recognized as Teacher of the Year for 1995-1996. She has organized and led 10 tours to Germany for her high school students.

Over the years Marianne has been an active advocate and liaison for the university through her work on the Town and Gown Committee and the Committee 2000. Marianne served on the Mansfield University Alumni Board for nine years, one as vice president. She has assisted with Admissions, many Alumni Weekends and served on the Save North Hall Committee.

She and her husband Paul, a 1971 graduate of Mansfield, are the parents of two children. Sue of San Francisco and Nate, a fifth year Pharmacy student at Duquesne.
