The Outstanding Young Alumni Award is given for outstanding professional performance and achievements to those who have graduated in the last 20 years. Dennis F. Mohatt is the Western Regional Vice President for Development with Alternative Behavioral Services, Inc., a national leader in the development, management and provision of behavioral health services.
Prior to joining ABS, Inc. Mr. Mohatt served as Deputy Director for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. He served on the National Rural Health Advisory Committee to the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services from 1994-1998.
Mr. Mohatt is married to Mansfield University graduate Dr. Karen Sharer-Mohatt ‘81.They have one daughter, Kathryn Ann who will enter the second grade in the fall.
