James D. Kimmel ’83

The Outstanding Young Alumni Award is given for outstanding professional performance and achievements to those who have graduated in the last 20 years. James D. Kimmel is an elementary band director and chairman of the music department in the Ephrata Area School District in Lancaster County, PA.

He is also the Director of the Ephrata Area Summer Enrichment Program, the Director of the Mansfield University High School Music Camp and currently serves as the District 7 President of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association.
