Robert Bogart earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Mansfield in 1983 and his M.S. in Mathematics from Bucknell in 1985. That same year he began employment at the National Security Agency (NSA) in Ft. Meade, MD, where he went through a rigorous three-year program designed to expose newly hired mathematicians to various areas of the Agency. His knowledge and experience are respected and widely sought at NSA and other governmental agencies.

Bogart has appeared in two TV reports about NSA, "Top Secret" on the Discovery Channel, and "History's Mysteries" on the History Channel.
