B.S. Chemistry (Chemistry Concentration) - The B.S. degree in Chemistry place an emphasis on organic and inorganic chemistry, mathematics, general education and provide excellent preparation for students to pursue graduate studies or employment in industry. B.S. Chemistry (Biochemistry Concentration) - Our department's concentration in Biochemistry was developed in response to the recent explosive growth of the biotechnology industry and to attention to biological problems by all industrial sectors. B.S. Chemistry (Forensic Science Concentration) - The B.S. degree in chemistry with forensic science concentration is designed for students who want a chemistry education that concentrates on the rapidly growing field of forensic science. B.S. Chemistry (Nanotechnology Concentration) - The B.S. degree in Chemistry with a nanotechnology concentration is designed for students who want a chemistry education that concentrates on the rapidly growing field of nanotechnology and nanomanufacturing. B.S.E. Chemistry Education - Mansfield’s chemistry education program is recognized by the American Chemical Society as meeting standards for high-quality undergraduate chemistry programs. |

B.S. Physics (Physics Concentration) - The physics B.S. program is offered for students who want intensive instruction in classical and modern physics. B.S. Physics (Nanotechnology Concentration) - This program is designed for students who are interested in the rapidly growing field of nanotechnology and nanomanufacturing (nanotechnology is the applied science that deals with manipulating matter one atom, or several atoms, at a time). B.S. Physics (Pre-Engineering Concentration) - The physics B.S. program with pre-engineering emphasis (also referred to as the 3-2 pre-engineering program) is designed for students who want a strong physics and math background, but have a desire to be engineers. B.S.E. Physics Education - Our B.S.E. in physics incorporates extensive study of physics, particularly emphasizing classical mechanics, modern physics, and electronics. |
