Big Event Resources

MANSFIELD UNIVERSITY BIG EVENT

The Big Event started at Texas A&M University and has spread out to campuses around the nation. The 2007-2008 school year was the first year for the Big Event at Mansfield University. This year the Big Event took place on April 18, 2009 with projects on campus, the Borough of Mansfield, and Wellsboro and points in between.

Big Event Details:

1. Over 200 volunteers representing over 100 clubs and organizations
2. Combined over 600 "man-hours" at job sites
3. Project sites included: private residences, Tioga Memorial Gardens, Wellsboro Parks and Recreation, US Army Corps of Engineers-Lamb's Creek Recreation Area, Places of Worship, among many others.

If you did not participate in the Big Event last year, we encourage you and/or your club or organization to sign-up for the Big Event next year, more information is coming.
