Kerry Jones, English BA (1994), minored in Creative Writing and Philosophy. After attending Temple University, she earned her MFA in creative writing from Wichita State University, where she is an instructor of English and Director of the Writing Center. Her fiction has appeared in many literary journals, including The GSU Review, Yalobusha Review, Orchid: A Literary Review, Whimperbang, and Night Train. She is the 2002 Richard Yates Short Story Award winner and received a special mention in the 2005 Pushcart Prize Anthology. She recently completed her first novel, Dimestore Rita. Amanda Webb, English BA (2003) finished the requirements for the B.S.E. and graduated with her teaching certification. Before graduating from Mansfield University, she applied to be an English Teaching Assistant in France and was accepted into the program in May 2004. For the past two years, she has been living in France, teaching English to elementary school students in the French public school system. Next year, she will be teaching English to 2nd and 3rd year medical students at the Medical School in Nantes, France. In a recent email, Amanda said, "I am excited about my new position and I am confident that with my experience from Mansfield I will be a successful educator."
