Mansfield University strives to make a fire safe environment for the entire campus community. Through these efforts many improvements have occurred through prevention, inspection, and protection practices on campus.

The Mansfield University Environmental Health & Safety Office tracks all fire incidents on the university campus. This includes fire alarms, fire drills, fire extinguisher maintenance and inspections, fire alarm testing, and sprinkler system maintenance and testing.
Annually a report of all activities is published to provide all current and future members of the campus community with the information on fire safety at Mansfield University.
Mansfield University has adopted a procedure for the frequency of fire drill on campus. A copy of this procedure can be found here.
