Mansfield University's Physical Plant is organized into departments of Maintenance, Utilities, Motor Pool, and Grounds/Custodial. The main office of the Physical Plant is located in Brooks Maintenance on Sherwood Street which is across Rt. 6 from the main campus.
Lighting Retrofit Installation Schedule - This schedule is for all buildings which will be receiving new lighting in all rooms & hallways, motion detectors in classrooms and restrooms, and weatherization projects throughout the campus to ensure energy savings at Mansfield for the future. This is a project which has been in the planning stages for the past two years. The schedule may change from time to time, but our goal is to stay within the proposed schedule as closely as possible.
In the near future we will also be installing a centralized air conditioning system in Decker Gymnasium & Elliott Hall. In addition the Air Handlers in Steadman Theatre will be changed. As of this point, we do not have a definite schedule for these projects, but will forward that information as soon as it becomes available.
