Important Tax Information. Students don't pay taxes you don't have to!

If you expect to earn less than $12,000 during the 2010 calendar year, you can apply for an exemption from this Local Services Tax (LST). This tax will take effect on your first paycheck of 2010. The LST Exemption Certificate can be completed anytime throughout the year. However, any taxes already deducted will not be refunded by the university. Before your first day of work:

Complete the following forms and return them to the Payroll Office, Room 106 Alumni Hall.

Student Employment Form - available from the Financial Planning Office, Room 134 Alumni Hall
Earned Income Tax Questionnaire
EEO Racial Identification Form
2010 W4
Homeland Security I9 (PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED FOR I-9)
