Mansfield University has a mutual exchange agreement with Charles Sturt University, New South Wales, and also an exchange agreement with Central Queensland University.
Through Mansfield’s International Exchange Program, students can study at either Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario, or at Cape Breton University College in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

In the fall of 2005, Mansfield University (Pennsylvania, USA) started a new exchange program with the Institute of Political Science (Institut d’Etudes Politiques, or IEP) in the southern city of Toulouse, France.
The fall 2000 semester marked the beginning of the new exchange program between MU and the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität (FSU) in Jena (pronounced YAY-nah), Germany.
Each fall since 1992, Mansfield University has sent a faculty member and up to five students to Volgograd State University (Russia).
During the spring 2001 semester, two Mansfield students participated in the Pennsylvania Valladolid Study in Spain Program administered by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. They spent a period of twenty-one weeks immersed in Spanish culture and language at the University of Valladolid.
