Developing Tomorrow's Leaders
The President's Leadership Mentorship Program began in the Fall 2007. The program is focused on junior and senior undergraduate students who hold a GPA of 3.2 or higher and have held student leadership positions on and off campus. Students may apply in August.
Participation is competitive. Interested students will complete an application that that includes a writing component. Finalists will be interviewed and selected by the President. Three to five students will be selected for the program.
The program involves one group meeting per month with the President, mentorship and shadowing opportunity with the President and the development of a personal leadership philosophy and three year personal development plan. A final public presentation is done in April.
