The department offers two baccalaureate degree mathematics programs: B.S.E. Mathematics (secondary education) and B.S. in Mathematics (with a choice of two concentrations: Pure and Applied). There is also a Mathematics Minor and a Statistics Minor.
Please see the online catalog for more information on B.S Mathematics and B.S.E Mathematics requirements and course descriptions.
The B.S.E. in Mathematics prepares students to become certified teachers of mathematics at the secondary school level. The B.S. in Mathematics program is designed for those who wish to prepare for careers in mathematics other than education, and leads to a wide variety of careers.
