The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center is dedicated to the ideals of Dr. King and exists to promote non-violence, peace, intercultural understanding and sensitivity among all people.
The Center serves as an educational resource area for forums, small group meetings, student organization activities, and diversity training workshops.
A library of books, journals, and magazines on various cultures as well as a collection of videos is available for students, staff and faculty use. The center also offers a quiet reading area for individuals who wish to study here. Staffed by student workers, the Center is open to and welcomes everyone.

Mansfield University is a community in the best sense of the word. We look out for each other. We push ourselves to dream big. We work hard to achieve success. We care. Mansfield welcomed its first student in 1857 – and to this day, the University continues to seek and serve students with big dreams for their futures.
