SCHOLARSHIPS

Keller Scholarship:

• Criteria: This scholarship will be awarded to psychology majors in their second through fourth years of study, who in the judgment of their faculty, provide leadership for learning and service to the department, university campus or community.  The award will be renewable and students may receive the award for a maximum of 3 years. Recipients must have an overall GPA of at least 3.25 to quality for this scholarship. Recipients of an award must maintain a GPA of 3.25 or better during the semester in which they receive support from this scholarship in order to be eligible for future awards

• Deadline: Tuesday April 6th at 4:00pm. Hand in application to Dr. Murray in South Hall 211

Seidel Scholarship:

• Criteria: The purpose of the scholarship is to assist student athletes who are majoring in psychology at MU. One (1) $450 annual scholarship will be awarded to a psychology major who is a student athlete, has an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, and has completed 30 or more credits at the time of the application for the scholarship. Preference will be given to qualifying student athletes playing basketball, baseball, or softball. The awards will be for one year only and consist of $225 per semester, renewable for the second semester based on academic performance in the first semester. To be eligible for the spring semester award, students must continue to be student athletes and earn at least a 3.0 GPA overall in the fall semester.

Returning Psychology Student 

• Two $500 annual scholarships will be awarded to Psychology majors who have completed 30 or more credits (at Mansfield University) at the time of application for the scholarship and demonstrate outstanding character, integrity, scholarship, and campus or community service.   The awards will be for one year only and consist of $250 per semester, renewable for the second semester based on academic performance in the first semester.To be eligible for these awards, students must have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA overall and in the major.
