Mansfield University of Pennsylvania The residence life area employs a number of students in leadership roles. Information about the process for filling specific positions is posted in each residence hall and in the student newspaper.

Graduate Assistants (4 positions):


Responsibilities include: supervising a staff of approximately ten student workers, overseeing mail distribution, room changes, and key replacements. Students eligible for the graduate assistant position must be accepted into the graduate studies program at Mansfield University and maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Resident Assistants (42 positions):


These student-staff members are responsible for supervising one floor of a residence hall. They provide services to the students in the area of programming and guidance, report incidents of student misconduct, file maintenance and cleaning reports, and act as a resource for their residents. Students eligible for the resident assistant position must have a minimum QPA of 2.0 and have lived on campus for one semester.
