Residence Life & Housing

Mansfield University promotes a vibrant living learning experience for all of its students. All Mansfield University students must indicate their housing intentions to the Office of Residence Life (whether they are required to live on campus, or are eligible to live on or off campus). All first and second year students are required to live on campus unless commuting from home and living with a parent/guardian within a 50 mile radius of campus.

In order to accommodate this requirement, all students will need to access the My Housing section on My Mansfield to either complete the Housing Application Process, or to file for a Housing Exemption.

All students requesting on-campus housing complete an agreement which includes the payment of a $200 housing deposit. This deposit is retained until the student graduates or leaves campus housing and automatically allows students to participate in housing selection/reservations each year. The deposit is refunded upon graduation or approved departure (with proper documentation of exemption) less any assessments for damages, lost keys, etc., experienced at check-out.
