24-hour confidential services to women and men who may have experienced date rape, coerced sex, acquaintance rape, sexual harassment, or relationship violence.
The Advocacy Program assists victims of sexual assault, dating violence and sexual harassment. The office provides options counseling. The coordinator advises the victims what type of services are available on and off campus.
These include, but are not limited to:

the Counseling Center

the filing of charges, whether criminal or university

medical attention

assistance with academic and housing concerns arising from the assault
The program provides accompaniment to any services for any victim wishing it. The coordinator does not make decisions for the victims, but encourages the victim to make his/her own choices based on his/her own needs.
The Program also provides preventive programming on the topics of sexual assault, dating violence and sexual harassment. Programs are also available in self-defense and other related topics. The Advocacy Program also supports a system of volunteers who are trained to provide emergency assistance for the victims if either the coordinator is unavailable or the victim would prefer to talk with a peer.
