- Academic Advising offers regular meetings between the student and advisor to take specific action to improve the student's academic progress. In addition, new students are assigned a faculty advisor from their department and will report to them regularly for course and progress advisement.
The Learning Center offers supplemental instruction through study skills workshops, subject-tutoring, and writing center services.

The Services for Students with Disabilities Coordinator helps to ensure that necessary services are provided for students with disabilities. These services include, but are not limited to, Books on Tape, Testing Accommodations, Library Accommodations, Note Takers, Reading Assistants, Residence Hall Accommodations, Scheduling and Class Accommodations, Signer/Interpreter, Tutoring, Transportation, and various Assistive Technologies as needed.

TRiO
This program is designed to assist students who are first generation college students, low income, and/or physically or learning disabled with academic achievement, persistence and graduation goals. Program participants will receive special academic, financial, and personal support services to help insure that they are successful in their courses, make regular progress toward graduation, and persist in postsecondary education.

COUNSELING SERVICES
The Mansfield University Counseling Center is committed to the success of our students. We offer individual, couples, and group counseling to students who are stuggling with various mental such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance use, adjustment to college life and grief. The services of the Counseling Center are supportive of the academics and are not to replace long-term out patients therapy programs. A student requiring psychiatric evaluation will be referred accordingly. Our services are strictly confidential.

CAREER CENTER
The Career Center assists students with discovering and developing personal strengths and skills that will enhance their success as a student and build a strong foundation for leadership and career-seeking. Services and resources include, but are not limited to, career/major exploration, internships, job searching, graduate school, resumes/cover letters, interviewing, and professional development.

HEALTH & SAFETY SUPPORT
Services are offered through the Campus Police Department. These services include, but are not limited to, 24-hour Police Protection, Campus Police Safety Escort, Crisis Situation programs, Drug & Alcohol awareness, Emergency Blue Light-Phones throughout campus, Parking Accommodations, Mountie Shuttle service, and a variety of Personal Safety programs.

DAY CARE
The Sandra B. Linck childcare center is in a separate facility located at the corner of Holden Place and Wilson Avenue. The center accepts children of students, faculty and staff in a licensed and insured program.
