Mansfield strives to ensure its commuter students' needs are met.

Parking Permits
All students driving their personal vehicles on campus must purchase a parking permit and display this permit on the front window.
MU Campus Police issue parking permits. You can apply in person for a permit at the Doane Center, located at the intersection of Morris and Clinton Streets.
You have the option of applying ahead of time for your parking permit online, at Police Services. Please allow 48-hours for processing before picking up your pass at the Doane Center.
Commuter Parking Areas
Commuters can park in designated areas between the hours of 7 AM and midnight as shown on our Parking Map.

The Commuter Lounge is located in the Alumni Hall Student Center near the Mountie Spirit Shop and next to the Information Booth.
- Some of the amenities in the lounge include: flat screen t.v, two micro-fridges, a coffee pot, and toaster.

Need cash? An ATM machine is located near the entrance of Alumni Hall and Manser Hall for your convenience.
Normal ATM fees apply.
Lockers are available near the Commuter Lounge.
Lockers measure 12" X 16" X 17" and can be accessed throughout the daytime.
An initial $10 deposit is required and fully refundable upon return of the locker key with no damage to the locker. See Donna Miner in 327B Alumni Hall for more information.
We don't want you driving to campus under bad weather or other emergency conditions to only find the campus has closed!
The Campus Alert Messaging System---MU Mobile Alerts-- sends campus emergency alerts, weather closing alerts, and other important campus messages to your landline and mobile phone via voice message and to your mobile phone via SMS text message.
To sign up for MU Mobile Alerts:
- Login to your My Mansfield
- Select the "Get MU Mobile Alerts" and you will see the screen below where you can enter your phone contract information to receive alerts
The Kelchner Fitness Center is availble to commuter students who pay the fitness center fee, and they can use the fitness center anytime it is open.
Commuter students can access computers in the Commuter Lounge area in Alumni Hall.
Access to printers is available near the Commuter Lounge in the North Hall Library and throughout campus. Printing charges are made using your Mountie ID card.
You can also reach out to our campus printing services for special printing needs.
With your health fee, commuter students can use the Campus Clinic.

To serve your health needs, our clinic staff needs information about your health history. Please complete the Health Evaluation Report Form and return it to the Campus Clinic prior to the start of classes. The form can also be mailed to the address above.
